Alpharetta, GA — December 7, 2020 — CoreView, the most powerful SaaS Management Platform (SMP), today announced the appointment of Shawn Lankton as Chief Executive Officer. Lankton will lead the company through its next phase of rapid growth, driven by the global adoption of SaaS platforms, and the growing challenges to manage them effectively and securely at scale.
Lankton holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and has spent the past decade helping growth stage companies achieve phenomenal growth as a revenue-focused executive. Earlier in his career, he built McKinsey & Company SaaS Practice and spent years working with technology companies to accelerate growth by serving their clients better.
“I’m a technologist at heart, and I believe my greatest strength as a business leader is an extreme empathy for our clients,” said Lankton. “CoreView has built a powerful platform that is critical for IT leaders looking to manage, optimize, and secure their SaaS environments. 2020 was a highly disruptive year and IT leaders need CoreView more than ever to respond to the enormous new challenges they are facing.”
The rapid shift to remote work has changed the way businesses operate forever as enterprises accelerated digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives. Microsoft was one of the primary beneficiaries of this trend as enterprises flocked to its Microsoft 365 platform in huge numbers. In an earnings call earlier this year, the company said that it had more than 258 million monthly active Microsoft 365 users. However, as enterprises have largely made the transition to cloud and SaaS platforms, many are struggling to properly manage it.
CoreView’s flagship SMP is a critical tool for IT leaders tasked with managing the efficient operation and security of their company’s cloud environment. CoreView unlocks the value of enterprises’ investments in Microsoft 365 and other SaaS applications by providing visibility, control, and automation to IT teams and allowing granular permissions through best-in-class Delegated Administration and Role Based Access Control (RBAC) tools. Global adoption of CoreView’s platform is on the rise as the company grew annual recurring revenue (ARR) 116% this year with more than 8 million users under management.
In addition to its new CEO and revenue growth, CoreView demonstrated market leadership and commitment to its enterprise customers by reaching several major corporate milestones in 2020:
“With CoreView, we’re able to optimize our customers’ Microsoft 365 investments, significantly improve security and governance, effectively manage their subscriptions, and support adoption for all the apps and services included in their subscriptions,” said Abdul Rahim Al Moustapha of Crayon. “We chose to partner with CoreView due to their tight integration with Microsoft, the breadth of actionable information it provides customers, and the intuitive capabilities for running internal campaigns that drive adoption. We’re eager to join forces to help more organizations embrace the digital workplace.”
